Tiger to Snow Leopard - - - seamless transition.

Went out and spent the money on the boxset . . .

upgraded from Tiger without a single issue and it only took 30 mins.

Now if I could just figure out how to make the dock 2-D.

Step 1:
Navigate to “Application/Utilities/ Terminal” and double-click the Terminal application to launch it.

Step 2:
Type in an open terminal window the following command and hit return/enter on your keyboard:

defaults write com.apple.dock no-glass -boolean YES

Step 3:
Type in

killall Dock

Wait for the Dock to relaunch. It will revert to the 10.4 Tiger 2D Effect.

Step 4:
Return the Dock to 3D by typing the following command into the terminal and hitting return/enter on your keyboard:

defaults write com.apple.dock no-glass -boolean NO

Hit Enter after "defaults write com.apple.dock no-glass -boolean YES". Then type "killall Dock" and press Enter again.
