Tiger to Snow Leopard - - - seamless transition.

    Went out and spent the money on the boxset . . .

    upgraded from Tiger without a single issue and it only took 30 mins.

    Now if I could just figure out how to make the dock 2-D.

    Step 1:
    Navigate to “Application/Utilities/ Terminal” and double-click the Terminal application to launch it.

    Step 2:
    Type in an open terminal window the following command and hit return/enter on your keyboard:
    Step 3:
    Type in
    Wait for the Dock to relaunch. It will revert to the 10.4 Tiger 2D Effect.

    Step 4:
    Return the Dock to 3D by typing the following command into the terminal and hitting return/enter on your keyboard:

    Thanks a lot, but I got this message when i did that: Unexpected argument killall; leaving defaults unchanged.

    Hit Enter after "defaults write com.apple.dock no-glass -boolean YES". Then type "killall Dock" and press Enter again.

    Thanks mate. I really need to get my head around Geektool now, so I can do a lot more things like this . . .
