Tiger Upgrade

HI, i need to upgrade from Panther to Tiger but i dont have the Panther discs.Do i need them during the Tiger upgrade installation?

However, do you think i should go for the upgrade or the whole software instead?
 
You don't need the Panther discs to upgrade.

I'd suggest doing a clean install (making sure to backup first). You'll get less conflicts this way with older software.
