Eyedoc: what video does your Macbook have in it? TW2008 will not run on the integrated video, but I'm fairly certain it will run on any other video stand-alone card. It will not run on the Intel GMA graphics (built-in) for sure.
A word of caution though. I have a 24" aluminum iMac with 4 G of ram and an HD2600 pro video card. TW2008 runs OK, but infuriatingly (did I invent that word?) s l o w. . . . From one scene to another is not bad (on a particular hole for instance), but changing from play to Gameface, to game mode is painfully sloooow... It also has graphic anomolies such as red or blue shadows of the ball instead of grey, and triangles of terrain that flash and change their texture as you approach. Really annoying.
I also have a 750 GB hard drive which I have partitioned with 250 GB for Bootcamp with XP Home installed. I got the exact same game for Windows and installed it. It looks and plays awesome under Windows🙄 - on the very same hardware.
So, bottom line is that it is a really poor port of a very good Windows game.
Does that help?

Eyedoc,
Do you seek Mac native sport games or do you run Bootcamp?
The native Mac version needs:
Mac OS X v10.4.9 or later
1.83GHz or faster Intel Core Duo processor
1GB RAM
6GB free hard-disk space
Video card: ATI X1600 series or later; NVIDIA GeForce 7300 or later
(the GMA x3100 should be fine)
DVD-ROM drive
If you do run Bootcamp, what Windows version do you use? Xp or Vista?
Regards,
Fatum
I don't have a Macbook, but I know that the integrated graphics card has its limitations. I doubt that Tiger Woods PGA Tour 08 will work on your system, but I can't really say it will or won't, as the system requirements were made public prior to the Macbook getting the improved integrated graphics card.
Anyway, here's a thread discussing/listing games on the Macbook in particular (both native Mac games, and games for those who fancy to show off Windows on their Mac...). Maybe you can find something of interest:
