TikTok Avoids US Ban as Joint Venture Deal Officially Closes

So what happens in the UK and Europe - which version of the app do we get? Can we choose? I think i'd rather have the original Chinese one to be honest.
 
But it was TikTok that kids used to enlist themselves to a Trump speech...6 years ago or something. In the midwest I believe. But the kids fooled him and later said they had to take their iguana for a walk. 😂 Result: half empty stadion. Trump was not pleased.

Who is the "they" that "literally created" this problem? The mandate to force Bytedance to sell TikTok was voted for by a wide majority in both House and Senate. Biden signed the bill in April 2024.

It sounds like you are rejecting the evidence of your eyes and ears. Don't do that.

I was shocked to read it has 200 million US users. Had no idea.

I used to be on Twitter only to follow some favorite actors. After I deleted Twitter I felt so good I never wanted to jump to another app like Tic-Tok. Now I spend that extra time pursuing higher intellectual endeavors like watching The Simpsons.
