This is really a hardware issue, but i am interested in a software solution for it, so posting it in here.
I have a MBP, bought a little over a year ago and it has been through a lot since then (I am in college). The most recent issue is that when I type certain characters (the list of characters keeps changing, but most notably 's') they are followed by a '`' (tilda).
I plugged in an external keyboard and it works fine, so its definitely my computers hardware issue. I am thinking if there's a software solution to completely block the tilda key from registering anything so even when it is implicitly pressed, it doesn't register on the computer.
The ideal solution would be to replace my keyboard entirely, but am trying to use this computer till I graduate this December.
Would appreciate any thoughts or any other creative inputs.
