Indeed. But I would go further. Not only is he a prolific liar, he is a congenital liar... IOW I don't believe he is even *capable* of telling the truth intentionally. Every statement he makes is intended to disinform and create the illusion of his greatness or to further one of his corrupt goals. Gaslighting to the nth degree. Now I will say that once in a while there is a nugget of truth to be found, but that is merely an accident, like the broken clock that is right twice a day.

He is a prolific liar. A good liar would fool his enemies and allies alike. His lies only fools the MAGAts.

Cook said that tariffs had a limited impact on the March quarter as Apple was able to optimize its supply chain and inventory. Apple can't entirely estimate the impact of tariffs on the June quarter due to uncertainties, but with no changes, the tariffs will add $900 million to Apple's costs.
Tariffs add < $1B to costs. Meanwhile Apple will be buying back $100B in stock. :D

Those tariffs are a big, unbearable burden for them. They must find a way to pass them on to the consumer.

Remember, they’ve been suspended on iPhones and such until the “special bucket” for them is created, along with semiconductors, computers, etc. So I don’t think we have an accurate long term picture yet.

I've got an iPhone 16 since the launch date and I am hoping it'll last to the day when Apple won't repair it like my 12 mini lasted. (Minis were also discontinued a short time after the debut anyway.) Unless something unthinkable happens, I should be able to hang on to it until 2028, which happens to be the year President Trump leaves and if the tariffs stick, if they are informed, I bet the next President and his administration will put an end to the tariffs almost immediately.

Just so you know Biden increased the tariffs that were imposed during Trump 1.0.
