How about gifting us a keyboard and software that works?

just a thought...

Apple wants to give us a good gift?

This guy lies so much. Can’t wait for him to be gone.

I think it’s natural that as Apple fans we speculate on the possible different directions Steve Jobs might have led the Apple business. But to then ‘hear’ his voice commenting on whether he likes the acting ability of celebrities is taking it to the next level!

if Steve Jobs was here what would he have thought about Star Wars the Last Jedi?
Steve Jobs had opinion on Eminem’s music, express his adoration for the Beatles, Bob Dylan, Barbara Streisand, told Bob Iger Iron Man is not good. Remember, he also ran Pixar too, so, he had a say in the entrainment industry outside of Apple.

Looks you never remember that and last I checked, Pixar was sold to Disney making Jobs one of the largest shareholders. Disney ended up owning the Marvel and Star Wars franchise, so you can bet your RDF, Jobs would have thoughts about Star Wars.

Oh, by the way, how could I forget, Jobs bought Pixar from George Lucas.

That's like...your opinion man
At the end of the day, the show is rated a flop. It’s only success will be through prebundles with new Apple devices.

When I look at Reese and Jen, all I see is a forced made show thats truly a mediocre mistake. But those two don’t care, as long as the money was transferred to their account, they’ll gladly perform. I think this is where Steve Jobs (I’m sorry, I have to interject him) would decide differently.

Steve would:

Make Hollywood do it for free or Hollywood have to pay Apple - RDF.
Jobs would not hire neither Jen, Reese or Steve - he would bluntly say, they are not good actors.

SJ would give us documentaries about Bob Dylan and the Beatles.

Free, it doesn’t say free what? A month a year, forever? I didn’t see the keynote how long is this ‘free’ gift?
It’s good for any Mac/iPhone/iPad purchase after the announcement was made. They didn’t mention how long it would last though.
Googling “AppleTV+ free” yields this as the first hit:

Get one year free Apple TV+ when you buy a new iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, Apple TV, or Mac.

Terms and conditions:
• Offer is available for a limited time only.
• Offer cannot be combined with other free trials or offers for Apple TV+.
• Only one offer per Family, regardless of number of devices purchased. You can share your 1 year free Apple TV+ with up to 5 other family members via Family Sharing.
• Redeem your 1 year free in the Apple TV app starting November 1, 2019. Make sure your eligible device is running the latest iOS, iPadOS, tvOS, or macOS.
• Offer must be claimed in the Apple TV app within 3 months after first settingup your new device. To see the offer appear, you will need to sign in with your Apple ID on your new device. If you’ve purchased your new device before the launch of Apple TV+ on November 1, you will have 3 months starting November 1 to redeem.
• Upon claiming the offer, you commit to a $4.99/month subscription that starts immediately after the 1 year free and automatically renews until cancelled. You can cancel at any time in Settings at least a day before each renewal date. If you cancel during your free year, you and your family members will immediately lose access to Apple TV+ and the remainder of your 1-year free trial. You can’t reactivate this trial.

Eligible devices:
• Any new iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, Apple TV, or Mac capable of running the latest iOS, iPadOS, tvOS, or macOS purchased after September 10, 2019, from Apple or an Apple authorized reseller, is eligible.

I believe that they said in the keynote it’s a 1 year subscription included with the purchase of any new Mac, iPhone, or iPad.

But you've spoilt his comment now by repeating a fact that he could have looked up before he posted :)

Do people do NO researching before posting anymore?

The time and hassle to redeem the offer is more than what it is worth. They should have just made exclusive deals with various studios instead. Or just become a cross between YouTube and adult swim.

Apple is always about giving as much value as possible to those of us who are their most loyal customers.
If this was true, it wouldn't require a new purchase.

Indeed, what has always made the “Apple is doomed” argument so dumb is that it has always implied that Apple was some sort of special snowflake, incapable of leveraging its massive user base or demonstrate the ability to iterate on its industry-leading products.

Pretty much the only people that ever say that are ones that are saying it sarcastically.

"With the launch of Apple TV+ approaching, Apple CEO Tim Cook was today asked about Apple's plan to offer a free ‌Apple TV‌+ subscription to customers who purchase an Apple device, and whether that's something that Apple plans to continue doing in the future."

That's a lot of Apples...

Apple offers so many “services” it baffling that there is no bundle. It’s annoying that I get charged at different times of the month for each service. Would be nice for one bill.

how much time and what hassle is it?

So how is this going to work exactly? I've bought the new iPhone and a new iPad in the last month and a half... ?
