Apple made the iPhone 12 Pro Max battery worse than the iPhone 11 Pro Max. And now Apple increased the battery with the iPhone 13 Pro Max again. And reviewers find this “improved battery“ amazing. Did they forget what Apple did to the iPhone 12 Pro Max?

Apple giveth and then Apple taketh. Reviewers will be impressed everytime.

They claim the battery and efficiency improve every year. However, I still charge my phone at the same rate I did with an iPhone 4. They know that all they have to do is make BS claims every year to get people to purchase a new phone based on the fear of missing out.

It takes time to design for manufacturing optimization.

11 Pro Max was the last 6.5" form factor, so they're able to fit in the largest battery with an LTE modem and antennas.

12 Pro Max was a brand new 6.7" chassis along with internal design.

Apple doesn’t have to make any claims to sell iPhones. The iPhone sells itself at this point. You’re taking an extremely unscientific view of battery situation. You’re not all wrong, but your conclusions are off.

Tim Cook has been very successful for Apple and himself. Reviewers aren’t perfect. Don’t like what they’re doing, start your own channel and make the content you wish you could find, but apparently haven’t found yet

Apl has always done this with their products for as long as I can remember: take stuff away that used to be there only to bring it back in the future as an upgrade from the previous model.

It's sort of like how some people keep getting raises raise but still live paycheck to paycheck. They increase their standing of living and buy more things and thus their expenses increase at the same rate as their income. I think that happens a lot with iPhones/iPads too. Battery life improves, but users increase their usage as well. So even though you may still charge the phone like you always used to, you're getting more out of it in terms of productivity.

That's pretty judgemental. I recommend attending a Bridges Out of Poverty seminar.

There’s also a constant increase in cost of living. So raises can often keep people at their current financial standing without them outputting more of it to new resources. Flawed as the comment may have been it’s point is still valid.

Apple doesn’t have to improve very much at all…

Just say it’s better and more efficient and thinner… Or thicker… It doesn’t even matter
Whatever changes they do make will get defended endlessly by the cult

They can simply slap a new name on the device and the sheep line up with a credit card in hand every year without fail
