Meanwhile in the UK people are writing Tim on how they are dead and how the feature could have saved their lives.

It is a governments responsibility to certify these devices for sale. UK has not. Why not have the UK create a startup device company to compete to fill the void. Apple is an AMERICAN company so in the end it will serve this market first.

It's an an American company that hyped this feature at the event broadcast to the worldwide purchasing audience with little to say about any (substantial) delays. In fact the delays are likely to be so extended that the next watch edition (or maybe more) are likely to be released afore the feature might be activated, if at all in extra-US territories.

In my opinion this is grossly unprofessional of Apple and if the present Apple Watch iteration is superseded afore activation of the ECG facility then Apple should offer a retrospective rebate to all purchasers outside the US.

I'm sorry, but that guy is a moron. She tweeted that he had the same exact symptoms before, but never got it checked out? Only the Apple watch prompted him?

I had the same issue and went straight to the ER. I also bought an EKG, but after the ER visit.

It's more probably that you are likely to die looking at your AW and have a fatal accident due to the distraction than the number of lives it may possibly save

They should decouple the Watch from the iPhone. No reason people with other mobile devices should not get similar benefit from the Watch. Also, it would expands Apple market for the Watch.
