Refurbished Time Capsule - 2 TB, w/Simultaneous Dual-Band Wi-Fi

is selling at uk apple store for £120 (US$192) less than a new one.

Is there anything I should know?? - why is it so much cheaper.

It still has 1 yr warranty??

refurbs are great value @ discounted prices. i have a number of refurbs in my arsenal.

these are faulty units returned to Apple, then completely overhauled by Apple techs. IMHO, refurbs are even better then new products.

yes, and refurbs are eligible for AppleCare.

when you say they are eligible for apple care

do you have to buy a specific one to cover it or will it be covered by the one I have with my new imac ??

yes.

in my case, i got a refurb iMac with an ACPP and my (new) TC, purchased a year before, is covered by it.

i spoke to an AppleCare fellow and he confirmed the coverage.
