Hello all,

I'm doing first backup wirelessly on my TC...

However, it failed and then I tried to continue my interrupted backup.

As of now it seems like the rate of backing up is slower than 1 kbps....

Is something wrong with my TC? (I'm using internet through TC and it works just fine)

I'm hoping that it won't takes days or weeks to finish this initial backup T.T

Your first back up should be using an ethernet cable from computer to the TC. First one takes a long time and it is the slowest. I cleaned my new MacBook Pro up and only had 50 GB and it took almost 3 hours.

If you still have problems, you can delete everything off of Time Capsule and start again. I think you can erase it on the Preferences.

Even though Apple recommends that you are wired for the initial backup, it should still go faster than 1 KB/s... at least I would hope so.
