I have connected a new modem to time capsule. Airport utility gives green lights to modem and time capsule but I cannot access internet.
When I change back to old modem everything works fine (automatically). Its like there is a memory for the old modem.
Can anyone help with getting my new modem to acess internet and connect to time capsule

Register New Modem

You probably need to contact your ISP and register your new modem MAC address with them.

Yes. Cable modems must be activated with the company before being used. You cannot simply hot swap the cable over and expect it to work. That being said, if you have a connection on the new modem via Ethernet directly to your computer and your Time Capsule does not work with it then there is a different issue.
