Time Capsule - "Backup disk image could not be mounted"?

Backup disk image could not be mounted

I keep getting this error message:

'The backup disk image could not be mounted'

I've been able to back up without any problems to my Time Capsule for over 2 years and this had recently happened in the last two weeks.

Having used Disk Utility and clicked 'repair disk' I got the following information:

Filesystem verify or repair failed.

Invalid node structure
Invalid B-tree node size
Volume check failed

Any ideas anyone?!
