it's not a mac it's netgear. now the problem, for me…i have 4 airport expresses in the house and i can't figure out how to connect them to the netgear router. when i used the capsule as a router everything found each other automatically.

when i open airport utility the green light is illuminated below the world confirming a connection, but when i click on the world and get the widow that opens next to it, is says connection Disconnected, but i am connected. i don't know where to look for my airport expresses to configure them to connect to the netgear router.

suggestions and direction would be greatly appreciated.
thanks for your time.

cheers, j-

You may need to connect the Expresses directly to your Mac via ethernet to change the settings. You may have had them set up in such a way that the new router can't find them. You could also use the command to reset them manually; they might then show up in Airport Utility. http://support.apple.com/kb/HT3728

And beware: if they're old and require Airport Utility 5.6 you may be in trouble since that doesn't run on Mavericks.
