The hard drive in my early '08 MBP died the other day, so I switched it out for a new one. After hooking up the new HD I put in the install disc, ran disc utility, erased the drive, which set up a partition, and restarted. I then picked a language and went to back up from Time Capsule.
It saw and connected to the TC. It started restoring, and got to about 2%. The screen then flashed and it asked me to pick a language again. It never completed the restore. This has happened twice so far. Anyone else have this issue? More importantly, anyone know how to resolve?
I know all my files are on the TC as I can retrieve them from my other Mac.
