I'm getting desperate now!
So, hd failed in my Mac Mini, wouldn't boot, wouldn't repair. My backups on Mavericks had been running regularly, but it appears not correctly.
I put new discs into the Mini and have installed Mavericks. Yet when I run Migration assistant it tells me "no volumes found in backup"
Trying to open the sparse bundle gives the same error.
I am currently trying to open the sparse bundle in disk utility, this is just giving me a beachball though.
Please, any ideas or suggestions to try will be greatly appreciated. This has years of family photos on and I am incredibly annoyed at this failure 🙁
