I'm patiently waiting for the arrival of my Mac Pro. I'll be using it primarily for video editing. What are your thoughts on using a 1 tbTime Capsule as a primary back up for my rig? Is the wireless connection too slow to handle a Pro doing video work? Would it gum up my work sessions? Whatever course I take, I'll also be backing up projects on an external that will be stored off sight.

How are ya'll handling your backup solutions.

Yes, the wireless-n connection should be fast enough (you could also utilize one of the ethernet ports for even faster speeds). Either way, speed should be not be an issue.

Will you stay below 1 TB? ...depending on the amount of video editing you do (and store), 1 TB may not be large enough for you.

Or, if the wireless isn't an issue for you, I would just buy an external HD for use with Time Machine. Do you have more than one computer in your house? If not, I'm not sure Time Capsule is worth the extra cost.
