I recently bought a time capsule and I could not figure out how to put all of my movies and music onto it.. and I was wondering when I rip a dvd to my computer onto my mac if I could just store the movie onto my time capsule..

you probably have to configure it first with the AirPort Utility on your mac and then stuff happens. did you read the pamphlet that comes with the time capsule?

timecapsule is not an external hard drive for general usage. It is for back-up of you exisiting system. You can connect an external hard drive that you could use for all your music, movies etc. to the USB port on the machine.
