Time for new models to get to refurb.

I'm trying to help my friend buy the new 13" Macbook Air (2015) for a reasonable price. I recommended that she take a look at the refurb store. However, they seem to be only selling 2013/2014 models. Does anyone have any idea or conjecture of how long it takes for new models to end up on the refurb store?
