Nice of Apple to say the date but not the time. Some of us do work and live on the east coast. This was at 7:30 this morning and still nothing! It may have been easier if they had released it during the night for some to download and take the strain off the servers.

Actually, for a company that sells its own brand of servers, I assume having the servers crash would not be good marketing.

Oh, I'm sure Microsoft would notice. As well as Cisco. If Apple's own server were to crap out, both companies would be on it in a heartbeat. Unless of course, Apple isn't using their own server product. Then Cisco would love that too.
On the flip side, if the servers don't crash, then Apple can use the download statistics as part of their marketing for Xserve.

Umm....punctuation is a wonderful thing. Apple said it will be released on the 17th. It is still the 17th. Be patient.
