Hello all. I have been taking regular backups with time machine during the past year. My OS has become pretty slow when booting, and I would like to do a fresh install of Lion when it arrives. Can i continue to use the same Time Machine disk to do backups? I plan on manually accessing the harddisk to grab whatever i want on Lion.

Hope you understand

1. Backup of Snow Leopard
2. Format internal disk
3. Install Lion
4. Access the time machine back up disk and manually drag the stuff i want to the internal disk
5. Continue to backup on the same time machine being able to go back in time

Is it possible?
