Hello,
I have just installed a second drive in my G4 and can't find a reference to using Time Machine to back up two drives - I want to do so to an external Lacie 1TB drive.

Can anyone point me in the direction of an answer on this? Or has anyone had the same issue?

Open your Time Machine Preference pane, and click Options... . There should be a list of excluded partitions/folders, and the list is editable.

Time Machine excludes other external drives by default, and they appear in the exclusion list. By removing your LaCie drive/partition from this list, you are effectively telling Time Machine to back that partition up as well.

Be careful if you're planning to use the new LaCie drive on other computers, though. Time Machine may give errors if it attempts to back up the LaCie drive when it's not attached to the Mac.
