I am just finishing up installing VMWare Fusion on my iMac. I have read that the virtual machine takes up alot of space on the time machine backup. In time machine, I selected my virtual machines folder to NOT back up. Is that all I need to do so time machine won't back up my windows partition?

thanks.

Yep, you got it exactly right.

Just make sure to periodically back up your virtual machine files using some other method just to make sure you don't lose them if your hard drive crashes.

Thanks for the quick response.

I have tried Parallels and didn't have any problems, but I read about VMWare Fusion and decided to give it a try.

I hope I am not disappointed.
