Recently I have been having some issues with TM, and I don't know if it's my wifi, TM, my Time Capsule or Lion, but I decided to put it here, because I've only noticed it since I upgraded to Lion.

Over the past few weeks I've been adding some big files to my computer, and TM backups have been between 1 to 2 GB. Sometimes while TM is backing up, I manually put my computer to sleep for a little bit, and when I wake it up, it appears to be backing up again, but nothing is actually happening. Also my wifi shows no bars and my network is not selected, and when I try to select it, nothing happens. When I try to turn wifi on or off it either takes a couple of minutes or I just get no response. After a couple of minutes, I either stop the backup, or it tells me it couldn't connect, and my wifi comes back. From what I remember from SL, this never happened, and I'm sure over the year or so of using it, I must have manually put my computer to sleep many times and have no recollection of this ever happening.

Any clue what's going on, or is this just another Lion bug?

I have the same problem. Whenever I close the laptop lid while TM is backing up, the internet won't reconnect when I open the lid back up. If I try to select the network or turn wifi on/off, nothing happens. The only way I have been able to fix it is by stopping the time machine backup. Doing that will allow me to reconnect to the internet. Either that or just don't put the computer to sleep while it is backing up.

Hopefully this will be fixed soon..
