I'm trying to restore a backup but it says " this disk does not have enough space to restore to your system" The time machine backup is 133 gigs and my drive is 139 gigs. Why isn't it working ? I've already manually deleted individual files from "entering time machine" to make the total size smaller, how much more do I need to delete before I can restore ? Other backups of smaller size, 119 gigs work apparently.. I ONLY want to restore a backup this way. I just don't get it why it isn't working .

I think you tried to use the backup when you logged in your own account. To restore from a Time Machine backup then boot from the Recovery partition and then from the install menus restore from your Time Machine from their after you delete the old account.
