I am getting ready to sell my mid-2010 13" MacBook Pro and purchase a new 13" MacBook Air.
Before I sell the Pro, I will make a time machine backup.
I will then sell the Pro and purchase the Air (note: I will not have both computers at the same time).
Will ALL of my documents, music, and APPLICATIONS (and their data) be there?
For example, I have Microsoft Office 2011 (did not buy from Mac App Store) on my MacBook Pro. I no longer have the box or serial codes for activation.
Is it possible to literally the transfer the application over onto the new Air through the Time Machine restore? Will I have to deal with any registration?
Thank you!
