Mac OS Mojave Mac Pro (Mid 2012)

Hi you guys, I have been using Time Machine to back up my main work drive (Drive 1) for years....

For some reason, I can not find or select my (HD1) for Time Machine to back up.

See screen shots below.

I have (3) HD's that have systems on them (Mac OS Mojave). 2 and 3 show up but not my main HD 1.

TMBU1 is my external HD to use with Time Machine.

Any ideas?

Thank you.

Do you mean to say that Time Machine has lost its configuration? Can you post a screenshot of the TM window itself, without the disk chooser in front of it?

I understand you want to back up HD1. The list you posted is that of items you want "excluded" from your backup. You don't want HD1 in that list! But suppose you really didn't want HD1 backed up, then you would click on the little + symbol and add it to the exclusion list.

Ok this is where I am at as of now..... Exclude from BU pane..... deleted HD1 from it.

Select Back Up Disc:
The Problem: .... My HD1 is not listed here. How do I get my HD1 into this pane so I can back it up via TM?

I still have not heard back from anyone since my last post. How do I get my HD1 back into Time Machine?

Really? I use to have to select HD1 (if I could find it) to back it up in the past.

The list you’re looking at is the destination volume. That’s where you choose the disk to backup “to.” Choose the one want to host the backup and you’re all set.

Thanks for all your help Chabig! Looks like it is working. Just different than the way I use to do it.
