Time Machine can't complete backup over AEBSn

I've connected my TM hdd to my AEBSn ever since the update that fixes the TM bug but I've still to complete one full backup. I have 667 GB of data to backup but TM always craps up before it completes, giving me an error. I even have my MBP connected to the AEBSn by Ethernet cable.
 
solved: It bugged me to death trying to figure out why the backups are not being completed. I thought it was problems with AEBSn, Time Machine, the hdd or OS X but it's simply due to a faulty USB hub which I use to connect my hdd to AEBSn.
