Hi

I cant get time machine to work every time i click on the time machine logo in the prefs my mac crashes/freezes and i have to do a hard restart.

I have done a clean install i also have a brand new LaCie 500Gb drive i have formatted it yet still getting this problem.

Please help

Edit: Also when i am Repairing permissions i get this
Warning: SUID file "System/Library/CoreServices/RemoteManagement/ARDAgent.app/Contents/MacOS/ARDAgent" has been modified and will not be repaired.

Could this be my problem and if so how do i go about fixing it?

Thanks

Time Machine crashes Finder

Everytime I use Time Machine or select any option from it's menu bar icon I lose the menu bar completely and everything is inaccessable apart from the current window. The mouse still moves but nothing will click, including nothing on the dock. 'Force quit' brings up an empty widow, showing no apps.

I've had to do a hard restart. This has happened 3 times today. I'm turning Time Machine off from now on (if I can).

It worked before I installed 10.5.2 - I don't think anything else has changed since then.

MacBook Pro crashes when Time Machine backup runs on Time Capsule

My MacBook Pro locks up and shows the message "Please reboot your computer by holding down the power button" every time that Time Machine tries to run a backup. I turned off Time Machine and no more crashes... Sorta makes my 500 Gig Time Capsule useless... If anyone knows anything I should look for to remedy this issue I sure would appreciate it.
