Time Machine - delete all instances of file?

    How does one delete a file so that it's 100% gone from all history folders on a Time Machine drive?

    Click the file you want to delete, click the Gear icon in your option bar (the one that holds the Back/Forward buttons), then choose "Delete All Backups of this File." Might not be the exact words, but you'll know it when you see it.
