Time Machine - Don't want to backup dropbox

I have some very large files in my dropbox, but with those files, I can't do time machine because the backup disc is not large enough. Can I do Time Machine and not have it back up DropBox?

Yes you can. Just go into Time Machine preferences and exclude your Dropbox folder from being backed up.

Thanks, I see now in options - I only saw the external come up in the exclude part but I got it! thanks!
