    Hello chaps

Just stated to fire up time machine to use with my external disk that ive got bits and bobs on, and time machine informs me I have to use an empty disk for backups! Is this true? Do I have to buy another disk!?

    :)

No... you shouldn't have to use an empty disk... What file system is your drive formatted in?
