Every few weeks, I notice TM doing a large backup, 4+ GB. After inspecting the logs in Console.app, I notice that the previous backup had multiple Error -43's within the /Applications/ folder.
It also looks as if it has problems in the Applications folder from the start (1Password), up to Firefox (since it backs up in order). I can see this by looking at that TM backup through the interface and seeing that everything AFTER Firefox was backed up. Also, those apps from 1Password -> Firefox add up to 4+GB.
So, it looks like if TM errors on that first part of the Applications folder, it'll re-backup the whole thing.
Now, over time, if this keeps happening, this could add up to un-needed backups.
Anyone have any idea what that -43 error is?
