Okay i am trying to make my old 160GB external HDD as my backup. but when it starts it saves about 50mb and then shows
"Time Machine Error

Unable to complete backup. An error occurred while copying files to the backup volume."

and in the logs it shows

The HDD was erased by Time Machine and you can not fix permissions on a Time Machine Drive it will not let you.
