time machine help

I just bought a new external hard drive to use for time machine, and have all my photo's, music and movies on my other external hard drive. but I cannot move the other hard drive off the "excluded" section for backing up using time machine. How do I resolve this?😕

Is the backup running when you're trying to exclude it? If so, pause the backup and deselect it, then start it up again.
