I'm trying to figure out why Time Machine isn't displaying the correct "Estimated size of full backup". My OSX drive is currently using a total of 59 gigs. I want to exclude everything except for my "document, pictures, movies, & music folders" in the long run. I don't need to back up any system files or apps as I can just re-download them easily.

I'm trying to pinpoint the problem, but my "Estimated size of full backup" is showing 36.26 gigs. I'm confused where this 36.26 gigs is coming from? I did a test and excluded the four main root folders of my OSX drive. There's also no hidden folder that's taking up any crazy amount of space from what I see in OmniDiskSweeper.

I'm also using El Capitan btw (10.11.1).
