Time Machine Help??

So i have time machine set up over my airport extreme and have done one back up flawlessly. What I wanted to do is rather than back up every hour (as it took nearly 12hrs to back up), I wanted to set it to back up just once a day (at night). is that possible?? and if so how?? Thanks.

from now on the backups will take only minutes.

but to answer your question, I don't know of a way to change the backup schedule without changing code.

The only way I know of to do what you want would be by using an automator action.

well if it will only take a few minutes now that i have the first done than i can deal with it backing up every hour. Thanks!

only files/folders that have been modified are changed from now on, so unless you add several gigs to a folder, yeah, you won't notice the backup even happening.
