Hi,

Before Mountain Lion there was this company Dolly Drive that offered a solution whereby you could set a cloud drive as a destination for Time Machine. Apparently they decided they wanted to be like everyone else and starting with Mountain lion they're no longer offering this, and instead are releasing an online backup solution just like everyone else's (mozy, crashplan and the works).

So any idea of any other service that would allow to mount a network cloud drive and use it as time machine destination? Now that TM in ML supports multiple destinations this would be ideal.

I've tried sharetool and back to my mac connecting to a remote work server but TM does not support this as a destination.

thanks!!

You could always build your own cloud with a network attached drive or a NAS. In the long run this could end up being quite a bit cheaper.

i've thought about that but none of my remote "locations" (parents home, basically) have a fast enough connection for this..
