Hello Everyone,

I recently had issues with my mac book pro, whereby it was stuck in a boot loop. This has been resolved now by way of a fresh OS install. My main issue now is the time machine back up. I ran out of disk space for the destination before the boot loop episode, so moved everything to a new larger drive.

Now when I open Time machine to recover file\folders, all i see is the time line on the right hand side, that expands as i mouse over it, but does not show in the finder window, it is as if nothing exists.

I have done new back ups to the new drive, successfully, but still cannot access history.

I pray that this can be resolved.

Thanks
Jag

Did you follow the directions that Apple gives?

https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT202380

If you didn't follow the steps in the link above and still have your original backup drive, you may want to give it another try, obviously, you'd need to erase what is on your new backup drive first or try it on another drive.

If you're still having problems, I'd suggest making an appointment at the Genius Bar at an Apple store. I see that there are 3 of them in Auckland.
