time machine not configuring

ok well im new to mac. just got my mbp couple days ago and i have a question bout time machine.

When i try to set up my time machine i have a problem. There isnt a option to of chooseing where to back up files. and when i click set uptime capsule nothing shows up.
 
Do you have a Time Capsule or an external hard drive? You need either Apple's Time Capsule product, an external hard drive with USB/FireWire connectors, or like some forum members, an AirPort Extreme with the external hard drive connected into it rather than directly to your computer system to backup with Time Machine.
