Hello,

I have browsed backup content and found the files I need. However, owner is a standard user that has nothing to do with those backups and my admin account cannot display those pictures.

I've copied those files on my local HD, and I made myself the owner using Apple + i, Sharing and Permissions> Lock icon but I need to do that on hundreds of file.

How do I automate that for all the files in that dir?

When I try to give myself write permission via Term via chown (or chmod), I get the following:
"Operation not permitted"

Cheers

Ok, it looks like I'm gonna work around that by login as the user that owns the picture, copying folder to Shared user and make a copy of the folder's content as admin.
The I will delete the unnecessary duplicates.

I will prob reset my Time Machine since I should be the owner of those files.
