Hi,
I just got a Time Machine, and now it's currently backing up my system.

I can get on the internet just fine through both the Mac side and the Windows side (using Parallels).

However, a Windows notebook cannot get online now. It was working just fine before. Furthermore, it can find and connect to the network. But when we open Firefox, it says it can't connect.

Will Time Machine now work as a general router while it's backing up? What's going on here?

Thanks!

oh yeah, time capsule, not time machine.

When it's backing up my computer, can other computers hop on the internet?

Is there anything special that other computers need to do to connect?

Time capsule = build-in hard drive for Time Machine backups / storage etc and a wifi router aka wireless router...

So yes other computers on your network can log on to the internet @ the sametime as Time Machine backups are active or not...

Ok, thanks.

It's just weird to me that this Windows computer can find the network, connect, but Firefox can't find the website.
