Time machine problem

Hi.....i recently downloaded an app called Time machine editor. It is supposed to have the ability to set the time machine back up intervals. So I sent it to back up once a day. Problem is that when I go into time machine, I see that it has multiple times of the day it backed up (when I only expected to see e.g. 8:am)

can anyone help? has anyone had this problem with time machine / or the app editor ?

Did you set the interval time in seconds? (24 hours = 86400 seconds) Also did you reboot the system after changing the interval setting?

In TME, the "Interval" option takes hours as its argument, not seconds. For Calendar intervals you specify "Daily" and the time at which you want it to back up.
