I hope this is in the correct forum, apologies if not.. I am thinking about getting some kind of network connected storage device, will this work with Time Machine? I have three Macs on my network, and I would like to point all of them at the same device, is this possible? If not, can I use a single device (assuming it is large enough) and physically attach it to each Mac when I want to back things up?

    Thanks-

Networked devices that aren't running Leopard wont work with Time Machine as it uses a method for backup (multiple hard links on files and folders) that isn't supported by anything else.

I'm waiting for all those people who hacked devices to work to come screaming that their backups are screwed after they discover this the hard way.
