I currently have time machine running on my MacBook Pro (10.6) and also have bootcamp installed (Windows 7).

I was looking at the options in system preferences for time machine and it says that Bootcamp (Windows) Partition is excluded from backup. I was wondering if I remove Windows Partiton from the excluded list, will this backup Windows and work the same as the backup for mac? i.e. be able to restore straight from the backup with mac install dvd and be able to scroll through timeline with time machine app?

Also worth noting that it is NTFS format and I have macfuse installed to allow me to writing data to it.

Thanks

Time Machine will not back up your Boot Camp Partition
