Time machine restore

I sent back my 2.0 glassbook today and am getting back a 2.4 tomorrow I made a time machine backup before sending it away. My question is will I be able to restore the new machine with the backup although its a different machine with different specs?

if you do a full restore from your install disc then it may display your Mac as having only 2.0 GHz when it actually is 2.4 GHz.

you can use your Time Machine backup with Migration Assistant in your Utilities folder if you wish which will migrate your user data and apps over rather than restoring the whole system.
