Hello,

I am having a problem with Adobe on a Journaled, Case-sensitive formated drive and need to format my computer to Journaled. Is there a way to restore with Time Machine and change the Format of the hard drive? I just erased my old drive and formated it to Journaled, yet once I restored my computer using Time Machine, the hard drive returned to Case-sensitive, Journaled.
Any help is appreciated. I tried to search for this information but came up with nothing.

I can only guess that Time Machine will not alter your new format on the hard drive. While that functionality may exist I have never known a backup alter the format of the restored drive.

See but that is what is happening. It's taking my Formatted Journaled drive, and changing it to Case-Sensitive, Journaled since that is what I originally backed up my hard drive on.
