Hey guys, I have the 1 TB time machine and and 180 GB Macbook pro. I was wondering if it was possible to store stuff thats on my macbook pro that takes up a lot of space on my time capsule machine thing. If so, would it be easily accessable? thanks so much for help!!

Yes, you can. Time Machine puts all your backups in a Backups folder on the external drive (or Time Capsule). You can copy anything else to that drive, as well. Just don't, obviously, put them IN the Backups folder.

Keep in mind, though, that those files won't have a backup if they ONLY reside on the Time Capsule drive.

Okay, so will these files be readily available to me once there on the backup drive and off my computer?

(Basically its a bunch of movies I have that take up a bunch of space on my laptop, i dont want to delete them, but I want to move them to where I could make more storage room but still access them)
