Wanted to do a reinstall from my Time Machine full backup. With the OSX install Disk from disk utility I deleted the old OSX volume. Then I chose restore backup from my Time Machine backup. It ran the backup but when I had to restart it refused to boot into Mac. Why? Cant one boot from a TimeMachine backup? I then reinstalled OSX as normal from Install disk then restored my Time Machine backup files. Everything worked fine. Any comments?
